NYC Recap

Happy Friday!! Man, it has been a week! Today, I wanted to share a few pictures I took while we were in NYC last weekend. Please ignore the quality of these photos though, as they are all iPhone snaps, and I didn't edit them one bit! However. I don't think they turned out so terrible! I purchased these Adidas Stan Smith sneakers from Nordstrom a few days before we left, and I am SO glad I did! I literally wore them the entire weekend! They were perfect for all of the walking we did. Literally, I think we walked close to 30 miles by the time we left to head back to DC on Monday evening. The weather was so nice and my in-laws wanted to see everything, so we walked all over the city! We took a ferry ride on Sunday morning to get a good view of the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline, and it was probably my favorite part of the trip. I've been to New York a bunch, but I've never done that and it's something I will never forget! I highly recommend it on your next visit. It's free and you get such a great view of the city! One of my other favorite stops my husband loves to make when we are there is a visit to his favorite spot, Levain Bakery. You can check out their Instagram page here. These cookies, y'all!!! No words to describe them except GINORMOUS, delicious, and hands down just the best cookie I've ever eaten. It's hard to eat an entire one at once, but they are worth every calorie.
