Happy Monday! The Loft Friends & Family Sale has been extended until Tuesday, October 23rd, at 3AM Eastern! I recently went in my local Loft store and picked up a few things, so I wanted to share them as well as some of my favorite picks from the sale. I tend to get a TON of my work dresses from Loft, and I absolutely love their sweaters! I posted this tunic sweater last night on Instagram, and I got a few DM's from y'all about it! I can't even begin to describe how hard the wind was blowing during this shoot!! However, in the end I think it ended up working out to show off this amazing leopard dress - just ignore my hair! I am headed to the RewardStyle/LIKEtoKNOW.it book tour party tonight here in DC, and I plan on wearing this dress! The fit is a dream and it is a piece that I will keep in my closet for years to come. It actually has a bit of an open back, but it's not too revealing. Also, if leopard isn't your thing, it's available in two other patterns - a black and white striped pattern and a neutral, floral pattern. Lastly, I must mention these shoes!! I have been searching for a low-heeled black pump (basically a kitten heel), and I was so excited when I came across these! Perfect to pair with ripped denim, any outfit for the office, and any dress like I'm wearing here! I'm so excited that this type of heel is making a comeback... rejoice for all of us tall girls!! XO

Happy Monday and Columbus Day! I hope you have the day off, but if you don't, which I completely understand, then I hope your work day passes by quickly! My sister and brother-in-law are flying into DC this morning, so I am off to the airport to pick them up! I am so excited to have them here for a few days! I wanted to share this look with y'all today, because you seemed to love the striped dress I shared last week that I found on Amazon! I have been on the hunt lately for some good, affordable Amazon finds, so I will try to keep them coming! This dress is by the same brand as the striped dress that I shared last week but this black one is sleeveless, which makes it perfect for layering! I paired this leopard cardigan (that I got from one of my favorite boutiques back home last year) over it, and I found a nearly identical leopard cardigan on Amazon that comes in a few colors! Happy Friday!! I'm so in love with this romper, so I just had to share it! It also comes in red, which would be perfect for any of you Ole Miss fans!! And, if you're not an Ole Miss fan or even into football for that matter (I hear ya!), the red would also make a great date night outfit (swoon!!). Another thing I love about this little romper is the fact that it has sleeves and keeps your upper half covered. I paired it with my favorite little white booties, but it would look equally as fab with a grey over-the-knee boot.

Lastly, I just want to say thank you for your support on my little space of the internet here!! I am trying to get back in the routine of posting more frequently on my blog after this crazy Summer!! Balancing a full-time job, finding time to take photos, link everything, write the actual blog post, prepare my content for Instagram, etc. (the list goes on forever!!) is certainly no easy task. However, I truly love doing this and I've found that you find time for what you love. Happy October!!!! I am excited for all things Fall, and I will admit that the month of October is hands down one of the best in DC! And, everywhere for that matter! After October, winter basically hits here, so I'm gonna soak up every bit of this month as much as possible!! I wanted to share this simple and super affordable look with you all today. I am OBSESSED with this brand of dresses that I discovered on Amazon. They are so comfortable, don't wrinkle, and they don't cling to you like some jersey materials do when it comes to t-shirt dresses. I literally have this dress in 3 colors (the striped one worn here, the heathered white, and the dark grey!) - oh, and I have the sleeveless version in black, which is perfect for layering cardigans over! Lastly, I must mention these booties. They are a dupe for the Kristin Cavallari booties from Nordstrom, and I have been so pleased with these that are a fraction of the price! They are so comfortable, go with so much, and they are such a great neutral color! XO
