Weekend Wear (Everything Under $100!)

Weekend Wear
Sunglasses | Mascara | Handbag | Earrings

Happy Friday!! How adorable is this tie cuff sweater dress that also comes in camel for under $100? I live in sweater dresses this time of year, so I am always on the hunt for affordable styles! Secondly, I love the BP. section in Nordstrom, and I have seriously scored some amazing sunglasses from there and this pair is certainly no exception. This mascara from Chanel has been my go-to for the last several months. My co-worker actually got me hooked, and I am obsessed with it. In the past, I've had trouble with Chanel mascaras drying out on me too quickly but this one has not at all. I just bought a new tube after about three months! It lengthens, thickens, and separates my lashes - seriously it's good, y'all! Wishing you a great weekend ahead! We are headed down South today to Birmingham for a wedding this weekend! XO

The Most Fabulous OTK Boots For Under $90!!

Plaid Jacket: Endless Rose | Skirt: Exact skirt here (and I love this one!)
Cami: Express | Bag: Sold out (super identical here!)
OTK Boots: BP. Nordstrom (under $90 and also available in black!!)
Earrings: Gorjana | Baker boy cap: Brixton

These boots!!! When I first saw them online, I thought oh my I love them but they might be too much, as in just a little too loud. However, I've been seeing statement-making red booties EVERYWHERE this season, so I thought why not make a major statement with this red over-the-knee pair. So, I finally convinced myself to order them and when I got them in, I was not disappointed one bit. In fact, I think I love them more in person. And, sure enough they go with so many things in my Fall wardrobe. I adore the pointed toe and I think they would be a great choice in black as well if you are on the hunt for an affordable black over-the-knee boot. You'll be seeing them a whole lot more this Fall! As always, thanks for stopping by! XO

Blush Crushed Velvet

Top: Nordstrom (under $40!) | Jeans: Blank Denim
Leopard Pumps: Old (love these!) | Bag: Old (adore this RM!)

Velvet is definitely all the rage this Fall, and I've been searching for a few pieces to add to my wardrobe for the season. We all know how much I love blush colored anything, so when I saw this top for under $40 I just had to snag it. I paired it with my favorite pair of ripped denim that I've had for a few years now. I have been eyeing some cropped, frayed hem jeans like these and these so I decided to take the scissors to the hem of this pair to give them a bit of the cropped effect, and I actually love how they turned out!! Lastly, I topped off the look with my ride or die leopard pumps that have become a staple in my wardrobe! Wishing you a great start to your week! XO

Ruffle Sweater Dress (only $55!)

Dress: Nordstrom | Boots: Steve Madden
Clutch: Red Dress Boutique | Hat: Old (love this one!)

Happy mid-week, y'all! How adorable is this olive green sweater dress?! Quite possibly my favorite thing about this time of year when it comes to Fall fashion is all of the sweater dresses! So chic, easy, and comfortable... seriously could not ask for anything better. Pair it with flat OTK boots or dress it up a little bit like I did here with a heeled over-the-knee boot and you're ready to go. I hope you have a great Wednesday! I am flying down South this morning for the rest of the work week. I'll be back in DC on Friday though, and I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend at home! I am feeling about as tired as they come these days... ya feel me?! XO

Feminine Edge

Maxi Romper: Nordstrom | Booties: Sold out (identical here) | Bag: Chloé
Leather Jacket (last year's version but love the updated style here): Treasure & Bond
Lips: Bobbi Brown in "Dusty Pink"

You might remember a similar maxi romper from this post. When I spotted this one with its dark floral print, I immediately imagined it paired with a leather jacket and booties to transition into Fall and edge it up a little bit. I sound ridiculous saying that, but does anyone else find their style a little edgier this time of year?! It's like one day I'm all feminine florals and ruffles, but when Fall hits I'm immediately looking to spice up any outfit with some leather, studs, or some form of edgy hardware. Anyways, this outfit is a prime example of me trying to turn a feminine piece "edgy" and I'm loving it. Sometimes you shouldn't be afraid to venture outside of your comfort zone, because you just might surprise yourself! XO

Booties: Old (similar booties here) | Bag: Sold out (similar here
Sunglasses: Old (love these that are super identical!)

Dress: Available here (in tall) and here (in regular sizing!)

Dress: Available here (comes in blush, black, and grey!)

Top is on sale for under $25 and also comes in white: Available here (bag is Céline)

Happy Friday!! Today, I wanted to share a couple of photos that have recently made my Instagram but have not made the blog. Even better, each item featured in these photos is under $100!! When I started this blog, one of my main goals was to post affordable pieces that my readers could obtain and make their own to fit their style. Mixing high and low is what my style is all about. Finding a dress for under $50 and throwing my favorite Chloé bag with it is what I call a win-win. Style is all about staying true to yourself, knowing what looks best on your body, and most of all what expresses your personality. I hope you have a great weekend ahead! We will be shooting a few looks this weekend, and I can't wait to share some new outfits with y'all next week! XO

Ruffle Cold Shoulder Sweater For Under $50

Sweater | Exact skirt here (absolutely love this one for under $50!)
Boots | Handbag | Sunglasses (sold out but love these!) | Similar hat here

The details on this sweater are just too good... especially for the price. A mini skirt and sweater is hands down my favorite combo for Fall. I was immediately drawn to this sweater when I saw its fun shoulder details, as I knew it would spice up the look just a bit! Sweater season is one of my favorite times of the year, however sweaters can be SO expensive. I highly suggest checking out Nordstrom's BP section (loving this one and this one, too) for affordable sweaters this season, which is where I found this one! Wishing you a great Wednesday... we are halfway there!! XO

You might remember this vest from Monday's post, but I wanted to show another way to style it like I have here over this silk top and skirt combo. It really is the perfect layering piece! Camel and black will forever be one of my favorite Fall color combos and just one of the most classic color combos in general. Blush X Black & The Baker Boy Cap

Vest: Leith (also comes in blush!)| Dress: Lush
Belt: Gucci | Bag: Nordstrom
Hat: Brixton (super affordable version here!)
Sunglasses: Sold out (similar here)
Booties: Steve Madden (old but adore these!)

Well, I have finally jumped on board with the baker boy cap trend. Who knows if I'm actually pulling it off, but I just had to give it a try. I'm all for styling looks with hats this time of year, so I knew I had to get my hands on one of these soon enough! Secondly, how amazing is this tuxedo style vest?! It instantly takes this simple, satin shirtdress to the next level. This dress is available in 4 colors, and it's under $50. Style it with booties now and take it into the winter months with over-the-knee boots and a leather jacket layered over the top. A staple that you can layer so many different ways! Wishing you a great start to your week! XO
