How was your weekend? It was nasty and rainy here most of the weekend minus the few hours the rain stopped yesterday afternoon allowing us to shoot this look! We didn't do much, and it was so nice! I was not even planning to shoot this outfit this weekend, until I saw this jacket on Saturday while I was out running errands and immediately snatched it up! I had no idea how I would style it, but my first thought was that it would be perfect to pair with some black pants for the office. After I got home, I went to hang it up in my closet and spotted this baby blue leather mini that I've actually had for quite awhile (from Zara way back in the day) and I knew it was the perfect combo. The black and white contrast against the blue is a favorite of mine! This color blue is one that you'll see me wearing nonstop over the next few months. I tend to gravitate so much towards this color when the temperatures begin to rise! Wishing you a great start to your week! XO

Happy Friday!! The past few weeks I have been on quite the shoe shopping spree. When it comes to Spring and Summer shoes, I'm all in! Give me all of the fun colors, block heels, mules, and wedges! I know I will wear them nonstop to work, on the weekends, and basically anywhere when I need a simple shoe to just slip on and go. Just think - the perfect shoe for that "throw on and go" dress. If you've seen my insta-stories this week, then you know the weather has been completely crazy here. This past Saturday it snowed, yesterday it was 73 degrees, and today it's nearly 80 degrees. Just insane for February in DC, but I'm not going to complain one bit! I am totally a warm weather type of girl, so I'm honestly in heaven! With all that said, this weather has me in full on Spring mode. So today, I bring you this amazing bodysuit and skirt combo that is giving me all of the warm weather vibes! I purchased a little black jumpsuit about 3 years ago, and I am constantly reaching for it when I'm in a pinch. I've worn it to a rehearsal dinner, a funeral, and multiple events here in DC. When I saw this red jumpsuit, I knew it would be a great addition to my wardrobe. While it's definitely WAY more of a statement than my little black jumpsuit, I know I will still reach for it just as much! I love the sweetheart neckline and the overall fit of the jumpsuit is just so comfortable! And, for just around $80 I figured I wouldn't regret it! So, branch out of your comfort zone and snag this one in red... but if you can't jump quite that far out of your comfort zone then black is always safe! Happy Friday!! Kicking off the weekend in this green jacket that I scored from H&M last week! Truth be told, H&M is one of my absolute favorite spots to find affordable sweaters and outerwear. This emerald green coat is the perfect example! I spotted this color all over the store when I stopped in there last week, and I was so excited to see it everywhere! It's so bold and vivid! If you are needing a spark in your coat closet, I highly recommend grabbing an affordable statement coat like this one... especially in any jewel tone. You won't regret that pop of color! XO

Are you a fan of Valentine's Day?! Regardless if you are or not, it's always a great time to spread some cheer to those you love! Personally, I've always been a fan! Although, that should come as no surprise as I love all things pink. There's definitely lots of cheesy couple love and mushy gushy stuff that goes along with it, but nothing beats getting some snail mail with a sweet greeting from your best girlfriend. To those of you that are so good at sending said snail mail - keep it up! I try but let's be honest... this year some years I'm just not on top of my game! TGIF!!! It has been a crazy work week for me, and I am excited to see the weekend! Do you have any fun plans for the Superbowl? We will be keeping it low key, and I am excited about it! I'll be shooting some more looks for y'all this weekend, but besides that we don't have much on the agenda! Today's post includes one of my favorite dresses ever! I have always thought that wrap dresses are so flattering on every girl, but I'm not gonna lie - I don't own many at all. Remember the ever so popular DVF wrap dress? Yeah, here I am admitting that I never took the plunge on purchasing one. BUT, my mind is now forever changed and I need to get my hands on as many wrap dresses as possible. They highlight your waistline, show off a bit of your chest (without being too revealing), and this one in particular hits at just the right spot on the thighs. I'm forever a fan!
