Who What Wear

Top: Sachin & Babi | Pants: Who What Wear (such a steal!!)
Clutch: Similar here | Sunnies: Nordstrom (Celine lookalikes - you need them!)
Shoes: Nine West | Lipstick: Revlon in Romantic

Happy Friday!!! It has been so rainy here in DC this week, but it looks like the sun should come back out on Sunday! Today, I had to share this look that mixes both high and low price points. This top is a splurge, but y'all (insert praise hands emoji!) these pants are a steal at less than $35 and the quality is fabulous! If you are in the need of work clothes or just some classy, dressed up pieces with an affordable price tag, then I highly recommend you checking out the Who What Wear collection at your local Target. You can also find it online here. I have purchased quite a few pieces from the collection for work, and I have been so pleased with each piece. And, who am I kidding - I LOVE Target. They have really stepped up their game in the clothing and shoe department, and for any girl on a budget...it's an answered prayer! I hope you have a great weekend!

From the Desk to Dinner

Luxe Work Wear

Handbag | Sunnies | Earrings
Pumps | Top | Skirt
Mascara | Lipstick | Clutch | Sandals

Happy hump day! I am bringing a new type of post to you today that I have to admit...I had so much fun putting together! I plan to do a post like this at least once a week from here on out. I just love shopping for the different pieces and compiling them all onto one collage for y'all! I hope you enjoy it! Today, I wanted to debut this type of post with a desk to dinner look. If you visited my desk, I literally have a shelf underneath it, where I store about ten pairs of shoes. They range from tall boots, booties, pumps, sandals, and flats. Living in the city, some days I walk to and from work and some days I have to rush to an event immediately following the work day. Therefore, I just never know what I'm gonna need. Having the option to grab a few different pairs of shoes from under my desk, along with a few beauty items stored in my bag to freshen up is key. I always keep a classic pair of black pumps handy that I find myself reaching for constantly. I have had my eye on this Givenchy bag for quite awhile, as I just love how structured it is. I feel like you could fit SO much into it like this clutch (also love this more affordable option), which you could switch out for happy hour. I hope you're having a great week!

Alice and Olivia

Dress: Alice + Olivia | Shoes: Nine West
Clutch: Saint Laurent | Sunnies: Celine lookalikes
Lipstick: Revlon in Romantic (cannot live without!!)

I mentioned my bestie's wedding in Mexico that was a few weeks ago, which was truly magical and one of the prettiest weddings I have ever seen! However, I did not mention what I picked out to wear to the rehearsal dinner. It was one of those weeks where I waited until the absolute last minute to find something. I had just done a closet clean-out the weekend before, which left me feeling like I got rid of every single thing I owned! Literally, I got rid of a lot and it felt so very good! But, that left me feeling like I had absolutely nothing to wear! If you ask me (don't ask Buddy), I really didn't have anything to wear. I feel so weird saying "my husband" on here, so I will have to give a more formal intro at some point but Buddy is my better half! Anyways, you know the feeling of having nothing to wear? I know we've all been there. The night before we left for Mexico, I drove to Saks after work frantically searching for something! While walking around the store, I kept going back to this dress. A plunging neckline is something I typically don't go for, but this dress was just beautiful on the hanger! These pics do not do it justice! It is the most beautiful floral print, and it would be perfect for any event you have coming up this fall! I also love the top version of it linked below!

Little Blue Romper

Romper: Bar III (sold out in blue, but available in this black/white print here)
Clutch: Similar here | Heels: Absolutely love these! | Earrings: H&M

Happy Friday, everyone! I wanted to share this romper with you, as I just love the long sleeves combined with the off-the-shoulder style. This is a piece from the Bar III line at Macy's, which I have come to love so much! Such great pieces at affordable prices for work or play. I have linked some more of their items below that I am loving for fall. I am so excited for a weekend at home this weekend. We have been traveling nonstop lately, so I am excited for a weekend at home with not much on the agenda! Tonight, I am heading to a Gilt City Warehouse event, and I cannot wait to see what all they have to offer! I will report back next week! I hope y'all have a great weekend!!!

Stuart Weitzman OTK Boots

Sweater: Last year from Nordstrom, similar here and here
Skirt: Last year from Nordstrom, similar here and here
Sunglasses: TJ Maxx find, similar here

Since tomorrow marks the first day of fall, I wanted to share one of my favorite looks for the season... a mini skirt, sweater, and OTK boots. To me, this outfit is perfectly balanced out. This is a look that I will be taking into October when the temps start to cool down here, and I can finally slip these boots on for good. You might recognize these boots from Monday's post, where I discussed some of my favorite boots and booties of the season. So, today I thought I would show you how I styled this pair of OTK boots. I look forward to showing you more ways to style them throughout the upcoming months, and I can't emphasize enough how much wear I get out of all of my OTK boots! Especially, the flat versions (here and here). Happy almost fall, y'all!!

Fall Boot Guide

OVER-THE-KNEE

1. Stuart Weitzman Highland - I should probably just make it known now that Stuart Weitzman is my all-time, hands down, sent down from the heavens, you name it (!!!) favorite shoe designer. The quality, craftsmanship, and styles are always on point. If I had to choose one shoe designer to wear for the rest of my life, there is just no doubt that it would be anyone other than Stuart Weitzman. Now onto the Highland, I have this boot in the gray "topo" suede color. This style is such a classic! These are actually comfortable, and this boot is a style that will stick around for seasons to come.

2. Stuart Weitzman 5050 - I also have this style in the black leather, and these boots have been one of the best purchases I've ever made. Living in the city, I am always reaching for a practical, flat boot in the winter. These fit the bill perfectly. I seriously cannot vouch for them enough. I have worn these while walking all over NYC, walking to and from work in DC, to college football games in the fall, running weekend errands, and just about everywhere in-between. This is hands down Stuart Weitzman's most classic boot that will never ever fade!

3. Joie Bentlee - Joie has been on point the last few years with their shoes, and these boots are no exception.

4. Stuart Weitzman Thighland - These are a great in-between style in comparison to the highland and lowland boots. These have a little bit more sass with the mid-heel as well as the pointed toe. Great for any city slickers wanting a bit of a heel that's still walk-able!

5. Stuart Weitzman Lowland - This is the flat version of the highland boot. This style really took to the streets last season, and it is back this season in full force! I believe it will be back for seasons to come.

BOOTIES

1. Rag and Bone Newbury - I actually do not own these booties. I have tried and tried, but Rag and Bone runs small and for this size 11 foot of mine, I just can't make them work. However, I have multiple friends that own these, and they have owned them for years and praise the comfort of them. If I could squeeze my foot in them comfortably, trust me I would! But, for now...I'll just recommend them to the rest of you small-footed folks. However, how cute are these styles that are so very similar for a fraction of the cost (here and here).

2. Halogen Cori - I have come to love the Halogen brand sold at Nordstrom. Some of the styles are so on trend at such affordable prices. I adore this bootie that I came across recently while browsing the shoe selection in Nordstrom. The heel height is so ideal for work or play, and the all over suede is as chic as can be.

3. Sam Edelman Petty - I bought these last year in the "putty" color after debating purchasing them the year before, and I am so glad I got them. I love the low heel, and the way they look with dresses in the fall. While I usually opt for a 3-4 inch heel on a bootie, these actually look really cute and the comfort is unbeatable.

4. Vince Camuto Fianna - I have had my eye on these, as I just love the heel height and the tassel detailing. These would be so cute year round styled with denim shorts in the summer.

5. Isabel Marant Dicker - These boots are just perfection. A little western inspired with a mid-heel, yet perfect for those fall dresses and skirts. I know they are a splurge, but I can guarantee you won't have to buy another bootie for a few seasons to come!

DRESS BOOTIES

1. Stuart Weitzman Perfection - I came across this bootie during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and I wish so badly now that I would have pulled the trigger on them. They are basically the bootie version of the highland OTK boots. Perfection!!

2. Stuart Weitzman Grandiose - These have a little sass, and I am digging it. I absolutely love the thicker heel with the pointed toe. These are most definitely on my wish list for fall. Also, I came across a Vince Camuto look-a-like at a fraction of the cost here.

3. BCBGMAXAZRIA Blyss - If you don't want to splurge on a Stuart Weitzman bootie for fall, these are a great alternative. I adore this bootie!

4. Sam Edelman Cambell - Sam Edelman does it again! Simplicity done right with an affordable price tag.

5. Steve Madden Glorria - A Stuart Weitzman look-a-like...say what?!?! Love!!

OPEN TOE BOOTIES

1. Sam Edelman Yarin - I adore these open toe booties! I love them in both the black and oatmeal. Affordable plus cute = the perfect combo.

2. Dolce Vita Amina - These are more of a "shootie" (is that even a word?). I think it is in the fashion dictionary. To me, a shootie is a sandal type style of bootie. Dolce Vita always has the best selection, and these are a prime example.

3. Vince Camuto Katleen - I spotted these during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. And, while they may not be on sale now, I think they are still such a great buy!

4. Kristin Cavallari Laurel - I have loved these since they came out last season, and I still love them this season! These are so flattering to the leg, and I love the different colors offered!

5. Splendid Kendyll - These are just too cute! Simple and chic!

I hope you enjoyed this post! If you have any requests for more posts like this, please let me know! I plan to round up some of my favorite beauty products soon!

Leopard Lovin'

Bodysuit: Zara | Shorts: Zara
Shoes: Nine West | Handbag: Gucci | Sunglasses: Karen Walker

Happy Friday!! A quick post today sharing some of my favorite leopard pieces for fall, as leopard is a neutral...right?!  There is no denying that it is in my book. I mentioned a few things I picked up from Zara a few weeks ago while in NYC in this post. Well, these are two more pieces I picked up while I was there. First, I spotted this one shoulder bodysuit, and I immediately knew I had to have it. I have been searching long and hard for a bodysuit that is the perfect fit, and for under $25 I just couldn't pass it up. I thought I'll find something to pair it with and then I spotted these leopard shorts. Now, leopard can be tough to wear if not done right. However, the print on these flowy shorts reminded me so much of an Alice + Olivia pair of high waisted shorts I paid way more for a few seasons ago.

This weekend, my husband and I are headed to Oxford for the Ole Miss/Alabama game. My husband is an Alabama grad, while I'm an Ole Miss grad, so needless to say it should be a weekend for the books! I am so excited to actually be at this game with him rather than watch it on TV, as we have the past few years. There is nothing like a college football Saturday down South. Hotty Toddy!!!

Chambray Casual

Dress: On sale for $20!! | Mules: Similar here
Hat: Goorin Bros., Similar here | Handbag: LV, love this tote
Belt: Included with the dress, but love this | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

Happy hump day!! I apologize for my lack of post on Monday. I spent the most incredible weekend in Mexico, as I mentioned in my last post, celebrating the wedding of one of my closest friends! It was truly an unforgettable weekend and a beautiful wedding, but it has been a struggle returning back to reality! However, I am excited to share this casual look with you today. I wore this outfit a few Sundays back while running errands, and I wanted to share it with you all because this dress is such a steal. I have an obsession with Target, and well this dress is a prime example. I mean sometimes we all just need that piece we can grab off the hanger, throw on, and go. This chambray dress does it all (and even includes the belt)...SOLD! If you are in the DC area, I highly recommend checking out the cutest hat shop, Goorin Bros., on Wisconsin Avenue in Georgetown. A few months ago, my sweet friend's mom invited me to go along with them to the hat shop and we had the best time trying on basically the entire store all of the different styles they had to offer! I'm talking drinks, snacks, and any hat you want off the shelf at your service. It was such a fun girls outing, and their hat selection is fabulous!

Black and White

Crop Top: Bloomingdale's but sold out, similar here
Skirt: Bloomingdale's but sold out, similar here
Heels: Steve Madden | Clutch: YSL, updated version here

Happy Friday!! I am actually in Mexico right now to celebrate the wedding of one of my college besties! I am so excited for the weekend with the beautiful bride and some of my dearest friends! I wanted to share this black and white look today. This top and skirt are both from the Bloomingdale's brand, Aqua, that I picked up earlier this summer. Unfortunately, the top and skirt are both sold out, but I've linked almost an exact top and a similar skirt I found. The Aqua brand from Bloomingdale's has always amazed me with its on trend pieces at such affordable prices. This skirt was just too good to pass up when I saw it. Black and white is always a good buy, as it can be worn year round. I always justify any purchase if I'm feeling a little guilty about it, but it can be worn year round! I know I'm not alone on this one! I hope you have a great weekend! Follow along on snapchat (@courtkowalski) for the weekend's festivities. This place is beautiful!

Crazy for this color combo

Lace top: Zara | Skirt: Zara | Lipstick: Tom Ford
Shoes: Nine West | Sunglasses: sold out, love these
Clutch: Affordable version or Splurge version

Blush pink, olive green, with a side of leopard... now we're talking my love language here! I picked up this lace top and this faux suede/leather skirt on a whim while in New York a few weeks ago. I had to stop in the Zara there, as for some reason it just seems so much bigger than the ones we have here. I don't think it is, but you know when you're in New York how everything just seems bigger and better, right?! Or, is it just me? Anyways, I am so glad I picked up this top and skirt, because I think it is one of those outfits where you get the best bang for your buck. The quality of this faux suede/leather skirt and this lace top are fabulous! For under $50 each (the skirt is actually under $40), you've got a really great outfit! Not to mention, I think olive and blush go so well together giving off a feminine yet edgy vibe that pairs perfectly with this spotted calf hair clutch. Lastly, you've heard all about these block heels already. I have worn them nonstop, so if you haven't gotten yourself a pair then it's time you do!

Antique Floral

Dress: Revolve | Shoes: Nine West
Hangbag: Celine Trio | Sunglasses: Sold out, loving these

September is here and college football begins this weekend! Wow, I cannot believe it. This is such a fun time of year - football, fall fashion, OTK boots, dark nails (Lincoln Park After Dark I'm looking at you) and the list goes on and on. To start, I wanted to share this fall floral print that I just can't get enough of right now. I ordered this dress off of Revolve, and I love the cut of it with the cold shoulder details. This dark, floral print would be perfect for transitioning into fall. I am all about a floral print, and I have to say some of the darker floral patterns that come out in the fall are some of my favorites. They just add that pop that we sometimes need this time of year with all of the fall colors. This print comes in several different versions (love the top!) all available on Revolve that I've linked below. This dress is also available in black, and it would truly be the perfect LBD. Cheers to the long weekend, and I hope you have a safe and enjoyable Labor Day!
