Off The Shoulder Sweater Dress

Dress | Boots | Bag | Hat

The cut of this sweater dress is just so flattering! A little off-the-shoulder combined with a bit of a body-con fit and we have one sweater dress, friends, that is set to make a statement. It's currently on sale (with just a few sizes left), and I've linked some similar sweater dresses that I'm loving below! I paired this outfit with this little red bag to have a bit of a color pop against the grey and black, and I love how it turned out.

Did any of you catch the VS Fashion Show Tuesday night? It is one of my favorite events of the year. I just love all that goes into it, and the entertainment is always incredible! Alessandra Ambrosio has been one of my favorites for years! I hope each of you are having a great week! XO

Bo-Kaap

Dress (only $15!!) | Bag
Booties (on MAJOR sale for $62!!)

We made it home!! While I meant to have a huge Cyber Monday round-up on the blog today, we landed back in DC around 8:00am yesterday, picked up Brady (missed him SO much!!), then came home and began unpacking and doing LOADS of laundry. A few hours later, the jet lag began to set in, and I literally fell asleep around 3:00pm yesterday afternoon. I woke up last night around 9:00pm then went straight back to bed. However, I am up super early this Monday morning, so I decided to go ahead and share these pictures from one of my favorite areas in all of Cape Town, Bo-Kaap.

The area is lined with cafes, colorful homes, and cobble stoned streets. And, the sweetest people that dwell in these homes that want you to take as many pictures as you wish. It warmed my heart to see how welcoming and inviting the people were in this city. It made me appreciate their culture so much, and it truly gave me a new perspective on so many things. The lady standing on the steps in one of the pictures above is the owner of this adorable home I'm taking pictures in front of and she was so kind! I wore this adorable dress that's currently on sale for only $15 and is SO comfortable (and available in 3 other colors) to explore Cape Town on this day. I topped it off with my favorite fedora and my favorite booties that are of course on MAJOR sale right now. I can't recommend them enough... they are so comfortable, have the cutest zipper detailing, and the quality is amazing! Wishing you all a great start to the new week! I am excited to be back after the trip of a lifetime, and I can't wait to share some more photos with you! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! XO

Ruffled Red Sweater

Sweater: Endless Rose | Skirt: Exact skirt here (love this one!)
Boots: Steve Madden | Hat: Brixton | Clutch: Red Dress Boutique

Talk about the perfect Christmas sweater - this one is it!! These flirty tiered sleeves combined with the off-the-shoulder silhouette make for one festive sweater! Endless Rose is one of my favorite brands for finding affordable, chic pieces usually all under $100. Pair this sweater with denim and booties for any of your casual Christmas festivities, and you are sure to stand out at your family function! Seriously though, it comes in a non off-the-shoulder version too that's even cuter!

On another note, forgive me for my random posting schedule lately! I try to stick to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday posts but life has been nuts lately to say the least and my schedule has been completely thrown off! As you are reading this, we are currently en route on a trip we've been planning for quite some time now, and I've been so busy preparing for it on top of working my full-time job plus trying to keep up with the blog/Instagram that I feel like I've been running around like a wild woman! However, I realize these are completely good problems to have! I will get back to my normal posting schedule on Cyber Monday though, as I've got lots of great holiday content coming up for y'all! Alright, it is midnight and we are flying out first thing in the morning, so I need to get off to bed! Be sure you are following along on Instagram (@currently_courtney) to see where we are headed! I hope all of you have a great Thanksgiving!! I am so thankful for each of you following along, and I appreciate you stopping by more than you know! Lots of love to y'all! XO

Black & White X Red

Top: BP. Nordstrom (love this one and this one!) | Skirt: Topshop
Boots: BP. Nordstrom | Sunglasses: Forever 21
Lips: Revlon in Romantic | Bag: Forever 21

Kicking off the new week in this black and white look with a pop of red. A lot of my outfits recently have been accented with red, and it hasn't been intentional but I'm loving it! I've never been super into the color red, but since it is one of the season's biggest statement-making trends... I've been all over it! I am so bummed that this exact top is sold out! I purchased it at Nordstrom a little over a week ago then I noticed it went on sale online, so I went ahead and shot this look. Fast forward to now as I'm writing this post, and I go to link the top and BAM! #shegone! I will keep an eye out to see if it comes back in stock though, because it is SUCH great quality for the price (it was under $50). Anyways, I'm linking some other striped tops that I'm loving as well below! Wishing you a great start to your week! XO

Cold Shoulder Sweater Dress

Dress: Lush | Boots: Christian Siriano
Hat: Rag & Bone (exact style sold out but similar here)
Bag: Louis Vuitton | Sunglasses: Sold out (similar here)

I just love how much ivory pops in the Fall against all of the leaves! It is one of my absolute favorite colors to wear this time of year, so when I spotted this cold shoulder sweater dress I knew I had to have it! Paired with all neutral tones - this simple sweater dress makes for one clean and chic look! The step hem in this dress makes it perfect to pair with over-the-knee boots. Also, it has the cutest shredded back detailing that adds such a fun touch to the back of the dress! It would be so cute in the Spring, too, paired with a block heeled sandal when the temps are starting to warm up a bit but are still cool! Wishing you a great weekend ahead! If you see a veteran, don't forget to thank them for their service! Lots of love to all of our veterans out there... I am forever grateful! XO

Cutout Turtleneck Sweater

Sweater: Aqua (on sale for $55!) | Skirt: Old (identical here)
Boots: Stuart Weitzman Highland (newer version here) | Bag: ChloƩ

Putting it in neutral for this blog post, and I can't get enough. Camel, ivory, and grey make for one gorgeous neutral palette. The camel just pops so beautifully against these leaves! This skirt is an oldie but a goodie that I scored a few years ago during one of the Nordstrom Anniversary sales, but this one from Blank NYC is even cuter! Cutout choker-like sweaters are a huge trend this Fall, and I can't get over the price on the one I'm wearing above. I think they are so flattering and they add such a statement to any regular ole sweater... right?! As always, thanks for stopping by! XO

Leopard Lovin'

Sweater: Lovers + Friends | Skirt: Topshop
Boots: BP. Nordstrom | Bag: Old (love this RM!)

Happy Wednesday! I hope y'all had a great Halloween! I am forever a leopard print lover and each year I am always looking for that perfect leopard print sweater. I spotted this one from Lovers + Friends on Revolve, and I adore the large leopard print accented against the ivory color of the sweater. I thought my favorite new red OTK boots gave this outfit the perfect pop, so I paired this sweater with my beloved black denim mini from Topshop. I have gotten so much wear out of this skirt throughout all of the seasons! It has been a great addition to my wardrobe... a must have for sure! XO
