I realize there are a bunch of maxi's around here lately (maxi dress, maxi romper, and now this maxi shirt!), BUT this may be the best one yet! I am all here for this chic twist on a maxi dress. Wear it as a shirt or wear it as a dress (insert praise hands), and we've got two outfits in one, folks!! I think we can all agree that having more than one way to style any piece of clothing in our closet is always amazing! 

I hope y'all had a great weekend! We had such a fun date night at The Wharf on Saturday. It's a newer development in Southwest DC that opened up last year with lots of amazing restaurants, some shopping, and even a concert venue. It's such a neat spot in this city, and I have to say being by the water is a peaceful break from all the hustle and bustle! If you are visiting DC anytime soon, I highly recommend making a stop there! Hope your Monday is off to a great start! XO

There's no denying that I have been all over the color yellow this Summer. It makes me so happy when I wear it, and I just love how bright and cheerful it is! The deep V on this maxi romper is what sold me aside from the cheerful color. Bringing on some va-va-VOOM, am I right?!

It's a miracle - I have a new blog post up!! First things first, I did not mean to take such a long hiatus from posting on here. The truth is that June/the last few weeks have been nuts for me! This time of year is the absolute busiest at my day job, and on top of that we were traveling a good bit of June on the weekends so time just got away from me! However, if you follow me on Instagram, you know that I have been posting A LOT and keeping up with my outfit photos on there. So, be sure to follow along on insta, as I try to post a new photo daily! 

Whew - onto the good stuff! It's the best time of year with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale kicking off today for cardholders. I am trying to make it a point this year to not just buy stuff because it's on sale, but to find a few items that are staples that I know I will truly get my wear out of come Fall and Winter.
