Denim: Levi's | Bag: Sold out, LOVE this one!

Hope you had a great Memorial Day Weekend! We had so much fun at our friend's wedding! Yesterday we spent the day running errands and cleaning up the apartment. Then last night, we decided to walk down to the waterfront to watch the sunset and get ice cream for dinner at one of our favorite neighborhood spots, Ice Cream Jubilee. If you are ever in the Navy Yard area in DC, it is a MUST! I am not much of an ice cream person to be honest... I can eat frozen yogurt ALL DAY LONG though. However, this place is an exception, as they homemake all of their ice cream including the incredible waffle cones they make in front of you as you're placing your order. It's a treat and definitely worth every calorie. One of my favorite things about it that I learned the other day is the owner originally moved to DC to serve as a presidential appointee at the Department of Homeland Security, following her passion for making ice cream at night and on the weekends in her apartment. You can read the full story here. I love hearing the stories behind local shops like this. Talk about inspiring and just plain incredible! Wishing you a great week ahead! XO

Shades of Blue, Nude, And White: All Under $100

Shades of Blue, Nude, And White: All Under $100

Happy Friday!! This Spring I have been drawn to so many neutral tones and so much blue! I don't know what it is, but I think the older I get the more I'm drawn to soft neutrals. And, to be honest - I'm loving it! However, I will never stray from some color, especially during this time of year when it's the most fun to wear with these warmer temps!

I hope you all have a great weekend! As I sit here writing this, I am watching the Nightly News and I can't help but add that this week I have had such a heavy heart for those suffering from the attack on Monday in Manchester. My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families, especially as we celebrate Memorial Day here in America this weekend! Wishing you a safe and fun weekend! We will be celebrating some dear friends and their wedding this weekend here in DC! XO

Two Piece Set

Top: Leith | Bottoms: Leith
Sunnies: Sold out, just tried these on last night and loved them!
Sandals: Steve Madden | Ring Bag: Target

This might possibly be my favorite two piece set ever! So breezy, so chic, and so affordable. I am not one to sport a crop top usually, but I have found that it's all about proportions when it comes to wearing one. These maxi shorts are high-rise, so it makes it a lot easier to pull off this little cold shoulder crop top. Trust me, if I can swing it, you definitely can! I have been all about the ring bag trend going on right now, and I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted this little crossbody bucket bag at Target! It also comes in the prettiest camel color making it the perfect option if you don't want to splurge on a trend that you aren't quite one hundred percent certain you're sold on just yet. Lastly, I wear these Steve Madden sandals with EVERYTHING. If you haven't gotten a pair yet, I promise you won't look back after purchasing them! Also, I just have to mention that Anna completely captured my vision when it came to photographing this outfit. If you are in the DC area and in need of a photographer, I cannot recommend her enough! I hope you have a great rest of your week... we are halfway there!! XO

Little White Dress Under $50

Dress: BP. Nordstrom | Belt: Gucci
Bag: Gucci (also love this alternative!) | Sandals: Payless

Happy Monday! I am going to keep this short and sweet, as I am so tired from the weekend! We had the best time in Miami celebrating my bestie, Natalie, and I am slowly but surely getting back to the real world today! There is no denying that I just can't quite hang like I used to, but it was so worth it and a much needed girls trip! The weather was beautiful with lots of sunshine, and I just couldn't get enough of all of the palm trees everywhere... something I could totally get used to!

Now onto this little dress that is such an easy piece for summer! I loved it without the belt, but I decided I would tie in the accessories and give myself a little more shape by adding my beloved Gucci belt. I just love the way it tied together the entire look and gives this simple dress some major shape! This dress also comes in a pretty coral color and black as well. I've linked them below for you to shop! Wishing you a great start to your week! XO

Color Crush: All things light blue

Dress: SheIn (on sale for $22!) c/o | Sandals: Hinge
Bag: Who What Wear | Earrings: Gorjana
Sunglasses: Target (love them!!)

Happy Wednesday, friends!! I am so excited to share this look, as I just love how the setting for these photos totally emphasizes and enhances the feminine and flirty feel of this dress. If you haven't noticed, I am having a major moment over all things blue this season! It's not normally a color I lean towards, but I'm loving it this season. And, this dress is no exception. Are you sick of all things off the shoulder yet? I just can't stop buying it, as I think it's a universally flattering cut. However, I know it's a silhouette that is ALL OVER the place right now, and you've probably seen so many off the shoulder pieces everywhere. I'm going to keep on embracing the trend though, because I personally am not sick of it yet!

I hope you are having a great week so far! I am off to Miami tomorrow, and I am SO excited!! Be sure you're following along on insta stories @currently_courtney for all the fun! As always, thanks for stopping by! XO

Georgetown Waterfront

Top: Wayf | Skirt: Topshop
Sandals: Hinge | Bag: Who What Wear
Sunglasses: Target, sold out but similar here

Happy Monday! I hope all of you moms out there had a great Mother's Day! You are all amazing ladies, and I have so much respect for all that you do! I hope you felt so much love yesterday and continue to everyday! My Sunday was spent cleaning up our apartment, getting outfits together for my bestie's bach this coming weekend in Miami, and taking Brady for a long walk! Today is all about this nautical inspired look all from Nordstrom (minus the bag and sunglasses)! I am loving the wrap top trend going on, as I think it adds so much to a simple striped top like this one plus it accentuates your waist when tied. A win win situation for all of us! How gorgeous is this skirt?! I spotted it in the Topshop section in Nordstrom, which is where I actually purchased it, but I linked it via Topshop's website, because I couldn't find it online from Nordstrom. Anyways, I love the asymmetrical style of it, and I can't get enough of the contrasting details. It would look so fabulous paired with a gorgeous black top as well for a chic black and white look. Lastly, this straw bag is one of my favorite finds! If you haven't checked out the Who What Wear section in your local Target, you are missing out! Some serious chic finds at such affordable prices. Wishing you a fabulous start to your week! I know it's only Monday, but I am so excited for the weekend ahead and to celebrate my bestie, Natalie! Cannot wait for some sunshine and girl time! XO

Off The Shoulder Romper Under $50

Romper: Lush | Heels: Payless
Bag: Gucci (also love this one!)
Sunglasses: Old, Loving these!

Happy Friday! I can't believe today is my first post of the week! I have been traveling for work the last few days and life has just been nuts lately! I feel like it was January just last week and now all of a sudden it's May, summer is approaching, and life has gotten crazy really fast! However, I plan to get back to my normal posting schedule next week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) and I plan to stick to it the best I can over the next few months! I shot a few looks with Anna Meyer last weekend, who I cannot recommend enough if you are in the DC area! She made me feel so comfortable, which means everything as a blogger when you're trying to make yourself look like you know what you're doing! You can check out her amazing work here and her Instagram here!

I picked up this romper from Nordstrom last week, and I'm just in love with the drop waist silhouette combined with the off the shoulder details. It would be so cute paired with wedges, flat sandals, or dressed up with a chunkier heeled sandal like I paired with it here. It is such a steal for the price, and I absolutely love the other pattern it comes in as well! I've linked a few more rompers I'm loving below. Wishing you a fabulous weekend ahead! As always, thanks for stopping by! XO
