The Top You Need For Spring (& Other Spring Picks!)

Top | Pants | Pumps | Handbag

Happy Tuesday! The weather has been such a tease here... one day it's 60 degrees and the next day it's in the 30's. Literally, we are expecting snow tomorrow, yet I was wearing short sleeves the other day! With the drastic change in temperatures, it has me craving Spring more than ever! I recently picked up this gorgeous top at Nordstrom and the quality is just amazing for the price! Are you needing the perfect top for Valentine's Day?! This could definitely be the one. I decided to pair it with my staple faux leather pants, as I just love the feminine/edgy contrast. However, it would look equally amazing with white denim when the temps officially warm up! I'm sharing several other Springy tops below that I also have my eyes on! Just click on any image to shop it! Happy shopping! XO

My failproof go-to look

Vest | Top | Pants | Heels | Handbag | Earrings

Happy Monday! This weekend was absolutely beautiful, and it was so nice to get outside! I can't even begin to explain how great it was to take some photos without freezing my butt off! We shot this look yesterday, and there's no doubt that I am channeling my inner city self with this sleek all black outfit. If I'm ever in a pinch for a last minute outfit, I always end up wearing some version of this look. You just can't go wrong with combining all different textures of black. It's always put together, chic, and usually slimming - can I get an amen?! I bought these Blank NYC faux leather pants (priced at just under $100!) a few years ago, and I still find myself reaching for them each season. They have become such a staple in my wardrobe! I hope you have a great start to your week! XO

Ruffled Sweatshirt Dress

Dress | Similar bag here | Boots | Hat
Belt is sold out but nearly identical version available here

This dress is literally the bomb, y'all! It is a sweatshirt material with the cutest ruffled detailing on the shoulders and it's under $30! Everything about it is a win/win! I decided to belt it with my new Treasure & Bond x Something Navy knotted belt that I recently got when she relaunched a few of her best selling items from her line, and I love how it totally transforms the entire look!

Do y'all have any fun weekend plans? It is supposed to be almost 60 degrees here on Saturday and Sunday, and I am so excited for some warmer weather!!! It will be so nice to take some blog photos without the negative degree wind chill! I enjoy shooting looks so much, however shooting them in the middle of a Northeastern Winter is not fun! Alright, enough of my #bloggerproblems... anything for you guys!! Lots of love and have a fab weekend! XO

Velvet Mini

Faux fur coat is old by Rachel Zoe but love this SUPER SIMILAR one here and here

Happy Tuesday! We had a great long weekend and I got a lot accomplished! We FINALLY got all of our Christmas decorations down, and I have to say it was the best feeling. I cleaned out my jewelry cabinet and organized my earrings with these drawer trays that have made such a big difference. I can finally see all of my earrings so I actually know what I have and I organized them by color - Type A, much?! I know I know, but really, these little plastic trays were life changing. I highly recommend them if you store your jewelry in a drawer or any type of jewelry cabinet!

Now onto this look, I have been obsessed with all things velvet this season. This skirt is just under $100 and the burgundy color is so rich! I paired it with my beloved Rachel Zoe faux fur coat (from a few seasons back) that I get so much use out of year after year. If you haven't invested in a black faux fur coat, you should! Pair it with distressed denim and booties or style it with a fab little mini skirt like I did here! You'll be surprised how much you can wear it! Wishing you a great Tuesday! XO

Chenille Sweater Obsessed + My Fave Leopard Bag

Sweater | Exact skirt is Zara (also love this one!)
Bag | Boots are sold out (similar here and here)

Happy Friday! I think I am still recovering from our quick trip to Atlanta, but it was so worth it for that game! Hands down the most exciting college football game I've ever seen! However, after this quick and crazy week, I am majorly looking forward to a low key weekend! Onto this outfit... such an unexpected color combo that I love so much! I hope the chenille sweater trend is here to stay, because it is seriously the softest material ever! Lastly, how amazing is this bag?! I thought it popped perfectly against these colors! Wishing you a great weekend ahead! XO

Pink X Pinstripes

Pink plus pinstripes... I am living my best Parisian life in this outfit! You've heard me talk about the Who What Wear Collection for Target a million times, as I am a fan of the entire line - it's chic and affordable along with the cutest accessories. Almost this entire outfit minus the cami, hat, and booties is from the collection. Seriously y'all, if you haven't dropped by your local Target to check it out then you are missing out. I wish I could say this was sponsored but it's not! I just love it that much. And, for any of you working ladies - they have such great pieces for the office!

I hope you had a great weekend! We are in Atlanta today for the BCS National Championship college football game that's tonight between Alabama and Georgia. While I am an Ole Miss grad, my hubby is an Alabama grad and the most die hard fan there is so I'm just along for the ride. Be sure to follow along on insta stories! XO

Happy New Year!!

Similar coat here and here | Tank
Denim (also available here)
Heels (c/o) | Handbag | Hat

We are back in DC after what feels like traveling the entire Southeast for Christmas! Not really, just Alabama and Mississippi but it was a HAUL!! The last few years we have been driving home for Christmas, because we visit both of our hometowns and make the rounds seeing family so it just makes it easier on us being able to haul home all the presents and have our own car. However, it is SUCH a long drive and I was beyond happy to make it back and get settled in. We snapped these photos while in Montgomery, AL visiting my in-laws and I couldn't get over how easy it was to take photos in a downtown area without so many people around! I packed a lot of neutrals with me so that I could create multiple outfits with fewer items, and this outfit is a prime example. I purchased this camel coat a few years ago, and it has been one of the most versatile coats in my closet. Lastly, how amazing are these heels?! And, I must mention that they are SO affordable! I adore the strappy detailing on them. Wishing you all a great week ahead and a Happy New Year! I love this time of year, as it always brings on a new perspective, new goals, and a fresh new start. I know I've said it recently, but this little blog has turned into such a passion of mine and I appreciate you following along! 2018... I am so ready for you! While it may sound a little cheesy, it is the truth! XO
