Tularosa X Revolve Henderson Maxi

Dress: Tularosa (love it in this color and this pattern, too!)
Sunglasses: Target

Happy Wednesday, y'all! Maxis have been one of my go-to styles this season, as they are so easy, breezy and make me feel so put together! The peachy, pink color of this one just screams Summer and is so flattering with a bit of a tan! Tularosa is one of my go-to brands as well when it comes to finding styles that are on-trend, comfortable, and well-made. Also, shoutout to Anna Meyer for these photos. This was the last outfit we took pics of during our last shoot, and it began to rain right as we started to take these. However, she managed to make these look amazing and make me look like I'm not dripping sweat as my sticky bra is completely falling off underneath my dress. I am laughing as I type this just thinking about it. The struggle is so real sometimes!

Anyways, I hope you are having a great week so far! We had so much fun in Gulf Shores with our family over the weekend. Buddy's family does a reunion each summer at the beach, and this year it was in Gulf Shores, Alabama and we just had so much fun! The weather was great, and it was so nice to spend a few days on the beach and disconnect from the world a little bit! We don't get to see our families very often, so I took a bit of a social media break while I was there to completely unwind and it was so nice!! However, I am back and look forward to sharing some great content with y'all for the rest of the Summer! As always, thanks for stopping by! XO

My Favorite Top Ever!

Top: Stylekeepers | Skirt: Old from Forever 21 (love this white denim mini!)
Heels: Steve Madden | Clutch: Saint Laurent (love this one!!)

Happy Wednesday! How is your week so far? I got back from the beach Monday evening, so I apologize for missing Monday's post! I am actually headed back down South for a quick getaway this Thursday to Orange Beach with family! Unfortunately, I had to fly back in between because work is nuts right now! Anyways, onto this outfit. This top might just be my favorite ever! Dress it down with ripped denim and a chunky heel or keep it a little dressed up like I did here paired with a skirt. Also, I think it would look awesome with these pants for another dressier look! Perfect for a rehearsal dinner or just a fancy date night out! I also LOVE it in white! It is the epitome of feminine and chic!

Currently Craving: Summer Neutrals

Summer Neutrals
Tassel Dress (also available in a romper here!) | Ankle Wrap Sandal
Straw Tote | Gold Studs | Mac Lipgloss (currently loving the shade "Snob")

TGIF!! I've mentioned before that the older I get the more and more I am drawn to neutrals, and this summer I am finding myself drawn to a lot of different shades of camel, cognac, tan, and "straw." While I do know that "straw" is technically not classified as a color... but come on (!!) it's everywhere this summer, so I think it deserves it's own classification! And, there's no denying that I'm loving any and every variation of it that I'm seeing! It pairs so perfectly with all of the bright summer colors as well as white, light blue, and everything striped!

I hope you have a fabulous weekend! I am currently in Florida with some of my best friends from high school, and we are having so much fun! Living so far away from many of my closest friends makes trips like these just so good for the soul! We are in Destin, which is where I grew up coming each year with this same group of girls, and I am so excited to get to visit a few new seafood spots as well as some old favorites! Have a great weekend! XO

Striped Off The Shoulder Dress Under $50

Dress: Lush | Bag: Sold out (love this and this!)
Wedges: ChloĆ© last season, updated style for this season here
and less expensive option here!

Happy Wednesday! Today I wanted to share this cute little dress that's so easy, comfortable, and perfect for any summer weekend. It also comes in a "denim white stripe" combo that would be so cute paired with some white sneakers (have those and love them!!) for a super casual and easy weekend look. I always love having simple dresses like these to throw on when I'm in a pinch. The strappy neckline details on this one are so cute and make it a little more fun! I hope you are having a great week so far and as always thanks for stopping by! XO

Shirt Dress Turned Kimono

Shorts: Loft | Cami: Express (a staple!!)
Kimono: Who What Wear last season (love this and this!)
Shoes: Steve Madden | Bag: Gucci

My style is a constant mix of feminine and flirty with a little bit of edge thrown in. There is nothing I love more than a fabulous dress that you can put on and call it a day, but when it comes to creating an outfit that comes together and the end result brings out my inner edge... I just can't get enough. Living in a bigger city the past few years has definitely made me come to love street style. I am constantly embracing my love for all things edgy and cool. And, this post is all about that! I purchased this striped shirt dress (worn as a long cardigan/kimono here) last year from the Who What Wear line for Target for work, and I have gotten so much wear out of it! It buttons in the front and has a tie that goes around and defines your waist. Not only is it a great piece for the office, but I was inspired to put it over this simple tank and shorts combo and there's no doubt that it completes the look. I scored these high waisted shorts from Loft a few weeks ago, and you can still get them here on sale! I hope this look inspires you to take some pieces from your closet that you already own and see how many different ways you can style them! Wishing you a fabulous week ahead!! XO

White Lace Top X Ripped Denim

Top: ASTR (on sale and under $70!!) also available on sale here and here in blush!
Denim: Levi's | Bag: Sold out, LOVE this one!
Wedges: ChloĆ© last season, updated style for this season here (similar here)

Hope you had a great Memorial Day Weekend! We had so much fun at our friend's wedding! Yesterday we spent the day running errands and cleaning up the apartment. Then last night, we decided to walk down to the waterfront to watch the sunset and get ice cream for dinner at one of our favorite neighborhood spots, Ice Cream Jubilee. If you are ever in the Navy Yard area in DC, it is a MUST! I am not much of an ice cream person to be honest... I can eat frozen yogurt ALL DAY LONG though. However, this place is an exception, as they homemake all of their ice cream including the incredible waffle cones they make in front of you as you're placing your order. It's a treat and definitely worth every calorie. One of my favorite things about it that I learned the other day is the owner originally moved to DC to serve as a presidential appointee at the Department of Homeland Security, following her passion for making ice cream at night and on the weekends in her apartment. You can read the full story here. I love hearing the stories behind local shops like this. Talk about inspiring and just plain incredible! Wishing you a great week ahead! XO

Shades of Blue, Nude, And White: All Under $100

Shades of Blue, Nude, And White: All Under $100

Happy Friday!! This Spring I have been drawn to so many neutral tones and so much blue! I don't know what it is, but I think the older I get the more I'm drawn to soft neutrals. And, to be honest - I'm loving it! However, I will never stray from some color, especially during this time of year when it's the most fun to wear with these warmer temps!

I hope you all have a great weekend! As I sit here writing this, I am watching the Nightly News and I can't help but add that this week I have had such a heavy heart for those suffering from the attack on Monday in Manchester. My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families, especially as we celebrate Memorial Day here in America this weekend! Wishing you a safe and fun weekend! We will be celebrating some dear friends and their wedding this weekend here in DC! XO
