Ruffled Sweatshirt Dress

Dress | Similar bag here | Boots | Hat
Belt is sold out but nearly identical version available here

This dress is literally the bomb, y'all! It is a sweatshirt material with the cutest ruffled detailing on the shoulders and it's under $30! Everything about it is a win/win! I decided to belt it with my new Treasure & Bond x Something Navy knotted belt that I recently got when she relaunched a few of her best selling items from her line, and I love how it totally transforms the entire look!

Do y'all have any fun weekend plans? It is supposed to be almost 60 degrees here on Saturday and Sunday, and I am so excited for some warmer weather!!! It will be so nice to take some blog photos without the negative degree wind chill! I enjoy shooting looks so much, however shooting them in the middle of a Northeastern Winter is not fun! Alright, enough of my #bloggerproblems... anything for you guys!! Lots of love and have a fab weekend! XO

Velvet Mini

Faux fur coat is old by Rachel Zoe but love this SUPER SIMILAR one here and here

Happy Tuesday! We had a great long weekend and I got a lot accomplished! We FINALLY got all of our Christmas decorations down, and I have to say it was the best feeling. I cleaned out my jewelry cabinet and organized my earrings with these drawer trays that have made such a big difference. I can finally see all of my earrings so I actually know what I have and I organized them by color - Type A, much?! I know I know, but really, these little plastic trays were life changing. I highly recommend them if you store your jewelry in a drawer or any type of jewelry cabinet!

Now onto this look, I have been obsessed with all things velvet this season. This skirt is just under $100 and the burgundy color is so rich! I paired it with my beloved Rachel Zoe faux fur coat (from a few seasons back) that I get so much use out of year after year. If you haven't invested in a black faux fur coat, you should! Pair it with distressed denim and booties or style it with a fab little mini skirt like I did here! You'll be surprised how much you can wear it! Wishing you a great Tuesday! XO

Chenille Sweater Obsessed + My Fave Leopard Bag

Sweater | Exact skirt is Zara (also love this one!)
Bag | Boots are sold out (similar here and here)

Happy Friday! I think I am still recovering from our quick trip to Atlanta, but it was so worth it for that game! Hands down the most exciting college football game I've ever seen! However, after this quick and crazy week, I am majorly looking forward to a low key weekend! Onto this outfit... such an unexpected color combo that I love so much! I hope the chenille sweater trend is here to stay, because it is seriously the softest material ever! Lastly, how amazing is this bag?! I thought it popped perfectly against these colors! Wishing you a great weekend ahead! XO

Pink X Pinstripes

Pink plus pinstripes... I am living my best Parisian life in this outfit! You've heard me talk about the Who What Wear Collection for Target a million times, as I am a fan of the entire line - it's chic and affordable along with the cutest accessories. Almost this entire outfit minus the cami, hat, and booties is from the collection. Seriously y'all, if you haven't dropped by your local Target to check it out then you are missing out. I wish I could say this was sponsored but it's not! I just love it that much. And, for any of you working ladies - they have such great pieces for the office!

I hope you had a great weekend! We are in Atlanta today for the BCS National Championship college football game that's tonight between Alabama and Georgia. While I am an Ole Miss grad, my hubby is an Alabama grad and the most die hard fan there is so I'm just along for the ride. Be sure to follow along on insta stories! XO

Happy New Year!!

Similar coat here and here | Tank
Denim (also available here)
Heels (c/o) | Handbag | Hat

We are back in DC after what feels like traveling the entire Southeast for Christmas! Not really, just Alabama and Mississippi but it was a HAUL!! The last few years we have been driving home for Christmas, because we visit both of our hometowns and make the rounds seeing family so it just makes it easier on us being able to haul home all the presents and have our own car. However, it is SUCH a long drive and I was beyond happy to make it back and get settled in. We snapped these photos while in Montgomery, AL visiting my in-laws and I couldn't get over how easy it was to take photos in a downtown area without so many people around! I packed a lot of neutrals with me so that I could create multiple outfits with fewer items, and this outfit is a prime example. I purchased this camel coat a few years ago, and it has been one of the most versatile coats in my closet. Lastly, how amazing are these heels?! And, I must mention that they are SO affordable! I adore the strappy detailing on them. Wishing you all a great week ahead and a Happy New Year! I love this time of year, as it always brings on a new perspective, new goals, and a fresh new start. I know I've said it recently, but this little blog has turned into such a passion of mine and I appreciate you following along! 2018... I am so ready for you! While it may sound a little cheesy, it is the truth! XO

Oversized Sweater Dress

Sweater Dress | Scarf | Bag | Boots | Similar hat here

You might have seen my insta-stories when we were trying to take these pics, and I was changing shoes in a corner on the Brooklyn Bridge. The struggle is real, y'all! I decided in the middle of the day that we should go shoot some photos on the Brooklyn Bridge, and there were a MILLION people walking across it once we got there. However, I love how these photos turned out, because they truly show what NYC is like this time of year... basically just people everywhere. There is nothing like it though, and the energy this city gives off during the holidays is like nothing else!

On another note, I absolutely adore this dress and the oversized fit. I do want to point out that there is some distressing within the dress, but it does happen to fall in all the right places. I was worried I wouldn't love the distressing but once I tried it on I was pleased with where the rips fell on the dress! With the scarf though, this look completely comes together. I love how one simple piece can totally tie a look together and make a simple statement at the same time. I've linked a few other similar scarves below that are equally as cute that would pair perfectly with this look, too. I hope you have a great rest of your week and safe travels to any of you that are traveling for the holidays! I am so grateful for each and every single one of you for following along! Much love to you and your families this Christmas! XO

Bright White Faux Fur

Handbag | Beanie | Booties (these are so cute, too!)

We had the best time in NYC this past weekend and this look is one of my favorites that I wore over the weekend! I ended up adding my huge puffer coat over it all, but let's just pretend I wore it just like this while I was there! Let's be real though, the wind takes everything to another level in New York. This faux fur jacket is a steal, and it would be perfect paired over any of your sparkly outfits for New Year's Eve. Also, this chenille beanie feels amazing and kept my head and ears so warm (and it's on sale for around $10!) the entire weekend! Wishing you all a great rest of your week! I am scurrying to get all of my last minute Christmas shopping done before we head down South on Friday! I am so excited to head home! XO
