One Shoulder Maxi Dress

Dress: c/o Red Dress Boutique | Shoes: Steve Madden
Lips: Bobbi Brown in "Dusty Pink" | Sunglasses: Nordstrom

If you've been following this blog for awhile then you've heard me talk about and seen me feature looks from Red Dress Boutique here and here. So, when they reached out to me about collaborating on a post, it was a no-brainer! I have been a fan of the boutique since discovering them on ABC's hit show, Shark Tank, when they snagged Mark Cuban as an investor. I can distinctly remember watching their episode in our apartment on the couch one evening (way before starting this blog) and being so inspired by the owner's story that I knew I was immediately going to love whatever she was behind. And, to add to it - she's from Georgia and I always love supporting another southerner! Diana has grown this boutique from the ground up and my favorite part about her and her passion behind this online boutique (they also have a storefront in Athens, GA!) is that they are making fashion attainable for the everyday girl. If you haven't checked them out yet, I highly recommend doing so! I have linked some other styles from their new arrivals that I am loving below! Happy shopping! XO

Twist Back Sweater

Sweater: Loft | Denim Shorts: Old (similar here)
Earrings: Boutique purchase but I love these!
Belt: Gucci | Sunglasses: Nordstrom

Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend! We had so much fun celebrating my bestie, Ellie, and her new hubby, Andrew! The weather was beautiful... 75 degrees and sunny with no humidity in August!! Lucky bride if you ask me... it was absolutely gorgeous! I picked up this sweater at Loft while I was walking around in NYC a few weeks ago after spotting it in the window. I think it's the perfect piece to transition with into Fall, as it shows some skin and is not too hot! You can choose to wear it how I have it styled here slouched off the shoulder a little bit or up on your shoulders! I'm all for the slouchy style though! I think I'll pair it with these high waisted jeans once the temperatures begin to cool off in the next few weeks! XO

Fall Cravings

Fall Cravings

Dress | Sunglasses | Earrings
Lipgloss | Handbag | Necklace
Brightening Powder | Calf Hair Mules

These mules!! I saw these while browsing Nordstrom's website this week, and I immediately knew I had to put together an entire look based around them. Also, I've had this little shift dress in my shopping bag for a few days now thinking that I need it desperately, and after seeing how well these mules match with it - it's official that I do! It comes in three colors, and it's under $50 - perfect to take from the office to happy hour! I recently got these round sunnies in the tortoise color, and I have been so happy with them that I ordered them in the mauve color, too. I'm so in love with the neutral tones in this collage, and it gets me so excited for the cooler months ahead! Wishing you a great weekend! XO

Gingham Goodness

Dress: Bloomingdale's | Shoes: Steve Madden
Bag: ChloƩ | Lips: Bobbi Brown in "Dusty Pink"

Happy mid-week to you! I recently shared this green gingham top in this post, and it was one of my favorite looks to date! I spotted this black and white gingham print dress in Bloomingdale's a few weeks ago, and between the tiered ruffles, statement sleeves, and black/white gingham print - it was a total win! This was another find from the Aqua line that I raved about in Monday's post! It would be so cute styled with some over-the-knee boots, too, as we head into the cooler months.

I can't believe we are approaching the end of August! I am headed to Virginia tomorrow for one of my former roomie's turned bestie's wedding, and I am so excited to celebrate her all weekend long! She is getting married in Deltaville, Virginia, which is a super small town on the river and it's going to be such a fun weekend on the water! Perfect way to end the Summer! I hope you have a great rest of your week! As always, thanks for stopping by! XO

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! Parker in Central Park

Dress: Parker | Shoes: Steve Madden
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Lips: Bobbi Brown in "Dusty Pink"

Parker does it again. Forever one of my favorite designers! I couldn't get over this navy floral print dress with its asymmetric neckline and ruffle overlay. The silhouette of this dress makes it so comfortable and flattering with the cinched waist. And, I must mention the most feminine details in the ruffle trim tie it all together for one fabulous piece! I wore this look for dinner in New York, and it was the perfect dress for wining and dining in the city. I adore the long sleeves combined with the flowy, silk fabric - perfect for this time of year when Summer is coming to an end. My new little Rebecca Minkoff bag paired perfectly with this look, and, y'all... the quilted velvet on this bag is to die for!! I've been needing a little pink bag and this was the perfect size and color to take with me into Fall. As always, thanks for stopping by!! XO

Casual in Soho

Bodysuit: Who What Wear | Denim Mini: H&M
Belt: Gucci | Sneakers: Adidas
Sunglasses: Nordstrom | Bag: LV (love this!!)
Lips: Bobbi Brown in "Dusty Pink"

Happy Monday!! We are back from New York, and I'd be lying if I didn't say I am a little sad! We had the best time spending a few days in the city, and I'm a little bummed to be back to reality! But, I'm feeling oh so grateful for the time we were able to spend together in one of my favorite places in the world. Seriously though, each time I go to NYC, I feel like I can conquer my wildest dreams. Maybe it's the fact that you see so many different types of people doing so many different things, and then you realize that you are all there for one of the same reasons even though they might be so different at the same time - pursuing your passion. There really is an energy in the city like none other. You probably hear that often, but it's so true and I can't get enough of it!

Okay, enough of my chatter and onto this look. I wore this outfit on our last day there to have brunch at Jack's Wife Freda (which was awesome!!) and walk around Soho for a few hours. I highly recommend ordering the "Madame Freda" if you make it there for brunch... it will not disappoint! I have had this bodysuit for a few months now, and I've been surprised at how many times I've been able to pair it with skirts, shorts, and even just jeans. For this look, I decided to pair it with my favorite denim mini, which is selling out, but here's a similar one, to keep it casual for the day. I topped it off with my beloved Gucci belt and my favorite Adidas sneaks, since we were going to be walking around all afternoon. I literally wore these sneakers the entire week, and I can't recommend them enough... grab them now while they're on sale! Wishing you a great start to the week! XO

Alice + Olivia Floral Burnout Dress

Dress: Available here and here (love the blouse, too!)
Shoes: Steve Madden | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Earrings: Kendra Scott
Lips: Bobbi Brown in "Dusty Pink" (can't stop wearing it!!)

This dress is a dream! Alice and Olivia has always been one of my favorite designers and this dress is one of the main reasons why I am always drawn to their designs. The details on this particular dress are just insane! It features satin flowers in deeply saturated colors accented with elastic cuffed sleeves, and most of all, it is so very comfortable! I adore how the hem of the dress cuts up a little in the center... showing just a little bit of leg that is oh so flattering! Lastly, the deep v has an attached necktie that you can leave undone or tie it together for that feminine touch with a bow!

I hope your week is off to a great start! I'm currently sitting in a coffee shop in NYC writing this post, as it's super rainy and nasty outside here today. I'm so excited to be here for the week though and explore the city once the weather clears up tomorrow! It's not nearly as hot outside as I thought it would be though... it's actually in the 70's and feels a little like fall! As always, thanks for stopping by! XO

Final Favorites from the NSale

Final Favorites from the NSale

All items are linked in the widget below:

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale ends this Sunday, August 6th, so I wanted to round up a few things that I got and some of my favorite finds from the sale. If I had to pick one item that I am SO glad I bought, it would be these Hudson jeans. They are SO soft, stretchy, and flattering. I will be purchasing them in black for full price, because I'm obsessed with them. They suck and tuck in all the right places and are so comfortable. Secondly, these Steve Madden booties (I got them in the grey suede) are so fabulous, and I can't wait to style them with dresses, jeans, and skirts in the fall. They were one of my favorite finds, because they look so much more expensive than they are and remind me so much of Stuart Weitzman! Thirdly, I purchased this Natori bra, and it is so very soft and smoothing on!! It is truly the perfect everyday bra... I highly recommend it! Finally, the last purchase I plan to make from the sale is these black booties. I am constantly wearing black booties in the fall and winter with skirts, dresses, jeans and basically everything, so I know I will be so glad I purchased these in a few months! I also love the tan color, but I desperately need them in black! Also, if you haven't purchased a pair of slides for fall, you can't go wrong with these from Halogen. I am loving them in the silver! I purchased the leopard pair, but they keep selling out :( but the silver are so fun! Wishing you a great weekend ahead! I am headed to NYC on Sunday for the next week, and I am so excited!! Cannot wait to spend an entire week in my favorite city! Be sure you're following along on insta-stories! XO

Floral Print Maxi Romper

Maxi Romper: Nordstrom | Earrings: Kendra Scott | Heels: Steve Madden
Bag: Target | Lips: Bobbi Brown Art Stick in "Dusty Pink"
Sunglasses: Sold out (just got these and LOVE THEM!)

Happy Wednesday! I hope you are having a great week so far! The weather has been beautiful here in DC with not as much humidity, which has been SO nice for a change. When I moved here from Mississippi, I thought the humidity would stay behind but oh my gosh I think it might be worse here! Also, Buddy and I celebrate our four year wedding anniversary tomorrow. I can't believe it! Time has FLOWN, but I still feel so lucky to have him! Anyways, onto this fabulous maxi romper! I think you know by now how much I'm LOVING this trend. The look of a maxi dress with the ease and comfort of a romper is just such a fabulous combination to me! I can't get over the sale price on this one for under $40! Seriously, snag this while you can! I am linking a few more that I'm loving in the widget below. Happy shopping! XO
