We are back in DC after what feels like traveling the entire Southeast for Christmas! Not really, just Alabama and Mississippi but it was a HAUL!! The last few years we have been driving home for Christmas, because we visit both of our hometowns and make the rounds seeing family so it just makes it easier on us being able to haul home all the presents and have our own car. However, it is SUCH a long drive and I was beyond happy to make it back and get settled in. We snapped these photos while in Montgomery, AL visiting my in-laws and I couldn't get over how easy it was to take photos in a downtown area without so many people around! I packed a lot of neutrals with me so that I could create multiple outfits with fewer items, and this outfit is a prime example. I purchased this camel coat a few years ago, and it has been one of the most versatile coats in my closet. Lastly, how amazing are these heels?! And, I must mention that they are SO affordable! I adore the strappy detailing on them. Wishing you all a great week ahead and a Happy New Year! I love this time of year, as it always brings on a new perspective, new goals, and a fresh new start.
