Meet Brady!!

Meet the newest addition to our family, Brady!! He is a nine week old Maltipoo, and he has given us so much happiness since getting him over Christmas. His mom is a Maltese and his dad is a toy poodle. He should get to be 6-8 pounds, but we shall see over the next few months! I'm not gonna lie that he's definitely been work, but I couldn't be happier. We have been talking about getting a puppy basically since we got married in 2013, but we kept making excuses and never would take the plunge. However, over the last few months, we decided that it was time and Buddy found this little guy from a breeder in Mississippi. When Buddy originally contacted the breeder in regards to Brady's litter, he was told that a sweet grandmother had placed him on hold already. Meaning, unfortunately, that he would have to wait until February for the next litter of puppies that would be ready. A few days before we left to head home for Christmas, Buddy got a call that she had backed out last minute, as she didn't think her grandkids were ready for a puppy. Lucky for us, Buddy's name was next on the list, which made Brady available just in time for Christmas! There is no doubt that he was truly the best Christmas gift!! I will never forget it when Buddy told me the news, and we left to go pick him up! I've definitely gotten a little less sleep the last week, but we are getting there. If anyone has tips on potty training, specifically in an apartment - please share! We are working with the pee pads, since training a puppy living in a high rise can be difficult, but he's not taking a liking to them quite yet! So, spill any tips you might have... I'm all ears!! If you have any questions or if you are interested in more info on Brady's breeder, please feel free to email me (courtneyhandey@gmail.com), and I'll be happy to share more!
